WHAT/WHY IS LINUSS??
Linuss is the bedroom pop avatar of Los Angeles-based songwriter / producer Michael Glines. Named after the Peanuts character and the Greek god of song, Linuss blends melancholic stories with playful grooves and whimsical soundscapes. Sonically, the catalogue consists of modern alt-pop compositions embodied in oldschool tones and instruments – vintage drum machines, warbly surf guitars, dusty old synthesizers, with intimate baritone vocals.
